USEFUL VOLUME

  • The resulting useful volume of the interior interior, taking into account the interior dimensions of, 13,570 mm in length, 2,480 mm in width and 2,515 mm in height, is 84.6 cubic meters. To this volume, we have to deduce the loss of space dedicated to the hydraulic equipment that moves the mobile floor in the front of the vehicle, approximately 4.2 cubic meters, leaving a real useful volume of 80.4 cubic meters.

  • It is assumed a coupling head height of the tractor, from fifth wheel to the floor without load, of 1,200 mm., if this measure was different, the useful height of the cargo compartment, could be reduced or increased. >

AUTHORIZED MAXIMUM PESOS

  • The maximum authorized weight of a trailer set plus a tractor unit is 40,000 Kg.
  • The maximum authorized weights of a semi-trailer are 35,000 Kg. On the hitch pin we can transmit 11,000 Kg. and on the axles 24,000 Kg.

PRODUCT TO TRANSPORT

  • This vehicle is specifically designed for the transport of waste from urban collection, with an important contribution of leachates.
  • Not recommended for the collection of industrial waste, garden pruning, furniture, or any other waste other than solid urban waste.

OVERVIEW

MANUFACTURING

Vehicle entirely made of aluminum, both the cargo van, as the chassis and mobile floor, are made of high quality aluminum.

Within the range of aluminum, those of the 6000 series have been chosen for the extrusion profiles and the 5000 for the sheets.

These aluminums are suitable for outdoor work, or very aggressive environments such as marine, have an excellent weldability and machining.

Below is a summary table of the mechanical characteristics< strong>minimumaccording to UNE standard of breaking load (Rm), elastic limit (Rp 0.2) and elongation of the materials used.

It should be noted that these characteristics are the minimum according to the UNE standards, all are improvements in practice in an obvious way, if necessary, the corresponding certificates of quality of the materials used would be provided, if requested.</P >

  • 6082 T6 alloy is used for structural elements.
  • The 6005 T6 alloy used basically in the Aluminum profiles structure that make up the walls, front, gate, and roof.
  • The alloys 5383 or 5083 are used in the construction of the frames in a single piece, in the structure that protects the hydraulic equipment from the ground, in the option of interior lining of the van, and in small elements of finishes.

All the structural elements are of a single piece, both those of the bodywork and of the chassis. There are no splices that would seriously damage the life of the assembly due to premature fatigue.

Manufacturing the complete set (bodywork and chassis) in aluminum, improves considerably the behavior against torsions and deformations derived from the dynamic working conditions. Also a homogenisation of materials, which behave in a similar way and have similar mechanical characteristics, avoids cracks, breaks, and therefore unavoidable immobilisations for maintenance and repairs that eventually limit their lifespan.

We improved the tare of the semi-trailer, giving it a higher payload, and therefore, greater profitability and optimization, and a lower fuel consumption in the empty routes, dragging a smaller weight.

CARGO COMPARTMENT

  • The cargo compartment or van, is built entirely of aluminum, its structure basically consists of longitudinal and transverse profiles of a single piece. Profiles of walls, front, roof and gate in 30 mm thick slab, with thicknesses of 3 mm on the face that is intimately in contact with the load, and 2 mm on its outside face. Front with front access door to the cabin of the mobile floor equipment for maintenance. Ceiling closed, with hydraulic loading hatch of 3.1 m. by 2.3 m. Hydraulic gate with pressure seals. Floor by means of cross-pieces of a single piece in double «T» of 80 mm, that serve as union of the van to the chassis, and where the tray of liquid collection is supported.

CHASSIS

  • Fully constructed in aluminum, with profiles of one single piece. Special design, allows us to embed part of the structure inside the beam, getting to increase its useful volume and stability by lowering its center of gravity.

LOAD SYSTEM

CORROSION

When using only aluminum in the manufacture of the vehicle, the corrosion problems caused by the peculiarity of the product to be transported, and its special working conditions in a difficult environment such as waste are minimized.

It is essential to avoid contacts of ferrous materials with aluminum, this, together with an environment with a high degree of humidity where these vehicles work, cause electrolytic corrosion, whether we use in the manufacture of steel chassis, as in applications of interior stainless linings … etc. This type of corrosion, producesa rapid erosion called cavernous corrosion due to galvanic effect, irreversible deterioration of aluminum, which in the long run, would produce leakage of leachates, breakage of structural parts … etc.

When this situation is inevitable, it is necessary to protect the aluminum with some dielectric material, which does not allow the circulation of the static current, and thus, avoid erosion by corrosion.

For all the above,we advise against mixed manufacturing,aluminum van and steel chassis.

OPTIONAL PAINT

Aluminum does not need to be painted, once the alumina layer is produced, the aluminum remains stable to the corrosion.

If by corporate image, advertising … etc. you choose to paint, you have to follow a rigorous process in the paint booth, which guarantees the good application of the paint on aluminum.

SECURITY

Entire vehicle complies with the essential safety and health requirements related to the design and manufacturing established inRoyal Decree 1215/1997.

The vehicle is designed to comply with the Law on Prevention of Occupational Risks,Act 31/1995, of November 8 and its reformlaw 54/2003of December 12.

To the security-related elements required by the current code in force, the safety of the user of the equipment has been taken into account, incorporating the following elements.

  • Ladder to access the roof of the van for maintenance and supervision, longitudinal aisle of non-slip paint on the roof, and lashing lugs for safety harness.

– Vehicle acoustic warning in reverse.

  • Blocking valve of the hydraulic gate, avoid the fall of this in case of failure of the system, the gate remains stuck in the position it has at the time of the breakdown or fortuitous stoppage of the system, both in its opening, and at the time of its closure.
  • Dashboard away from moving elements,
  • Control panel with activation by means of pushbuttons and clearly identified selectors.
  • Emergency stop mushroom.
  • Security system that prevents erroneous manipulation by the user, avoiding accidents and breakdowns.

It is not allowed to manipulate the gate locks or the hydraulic gate if the upper loading flap is not fully open.

Equipped with a sequential system, first service is given to the opening of the closing is and then to the elevation of the gate automatically, for the closing of the gate first descends the same and sequentially the doors are closederrojos.

  • Double warning of upper flap open, by means of a physical warning light on the side of the vehicle at the top, and with a light indicator in the controls.
  • Anti-rollover system governed by the EBS of the vehicle. If a lateral inclination of the vehicle appears, the EBS brakes the side of the corresponding semi-trailer to counteract this lateral inclination.
  • The EBS system guarantees a braking more effective with respect to traditional systems since it is an electronic system that harmonizes braking based on the reading of the phonic wheel.
  • It does not allow the mechanical manipulation of the braking valve depending on the load.

TIGHTNESS

The tightness of the cargo compartment is achieved through a 100% sealed liquid collection tray.

Front with structure in inclined plane to house the hydraulic equipment of the mobile floor, totally sealed. Hydraulic opening tailgate, double-lip sealing gaskets in one piece, with four hydraulic closures that work by producing pressure from the gate against the frame of the van, this system guarantees 100% sealing.
